Terms and conditions
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to your use of this website and to every service you purchase from Kilele Engineering Careers (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Our services
We provide career development services for engineers, including readiness assessments, CV and LinkedIn reviews, mock interviews, mentorship, coaching and career guidance. Each service page describes what is included, the expected timeline and the price.
Our services are advisory and educational. We do not guarantee any job offer, interview, promotion, salary, professional registration, admission, visa or international placement. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including employers, regulators and your own actions. We are not a recruitment agency, employment bureau or immigration adviser.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to buy services.
- We may suspend accounts that are used fraudulently, abusively or in breach of these terms.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and are the full price of the service. Payment is made through M-Pesa. An order is confirmed only when we receive confirmation of the payment from Safaricom; returning to a payment page does not by itself confirm payment. Standard M-Pesa charges may apply to your account.
We may change prices for future purchases. The price you paid for an existing order will not change.
4. Delivering services
- Timelines start when we have received both payment and the materials we need from you (for example your CV).
- Sessions are delivered online at the time you book. Please join on time; sessions cannot usually be extended if you are late.
- You can reschedule or cancel a session through your dashboard up to 24 hours before it starts. Missed sessions without notice may be treated as delivered.
- Unused sessions and services should be used within six months of purchase, after which we may close the order.
5. Your materials and our deliverables
You keep ownership of the documents you upload. You give us permission to use them only to deliver your service. Reports and feedback we deliver are for your personal use; you may share them with whomever you choose, but you may not resell them.
You must not upload material that you do not have the right to share, including confidential information belonging to an employer or client.
6. Conduct
We expect respectful behaviour from clients and mentors. We may end a session or suspend an account in cases of harassment, abuse or discrimination.
7. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
8. Liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of income or opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 or other Kenyan law that cannot be excluded.
9. Privacy
We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Act, 2019.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published here applies to new purchases. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Kenya.
